Evolving with the Times
In the last two issues of our newsletter I shared some examples of how we have pivoted to better support our customers and students in the wake of this pandemic. I told you about our timely CARES Act outreach, new SmartSessions webinars, free student support resources, and product upgrades. But if you’re like me, the buzzword “pivot” has overstayed its welcome.
I’m excited to introduce two ways we are evolving as a company to grow our support for you and your students.
1. Virtual Conference Booth. Conferences provide opportunities for training, networking, learning about new solutions, and of course getting cool new swag! But these in-person gatherings have come to a grinding halt. To help you reclaim some of the lost opportunities we’re introducing
virtual conference booths.

2. Wisconsin Student Loan Toll-Free Help Hotline. In collaboration with the Wisconsin Coalition on Student Debt, Ascendium is helping Wisconsin student loan borrowers navigate repayment questions during the pandemic, and beyond. This crisis has highlighted the need for credible student loan information, particularly because student loan debt relief scams are on the rise. The success we’ve had with our CARES Act outreach was the catalyst for this hotline. And the unique collaboration between individuals and organizations to get it off the ground so quickly is a great model for other states.
