As we move through the pandemic, top of mind in the media today are the impacts that student loan debt is having on borrowers. There's a growing need for elevated types of support such as expert student loan information, solid financial education, and navigating the virtual college landscape.
1. Asking borrowers what they need. We surveyed thousands of student loan borrowers. And with 9,000+ responses we're gathering great insight. Preliminary data tells us our current efforts are on the right track. If you want to get the survey results as soon as they're published, simply add yourself to the Sneak Peek email list.
2. Providing info the way people want it—via video. We're rolling out a series of student-facing YouTube videos created by our experts in the field, on topics student loan borrowers want, on a platform they embrace. We'll add more of these brief but helpful videos in the coming months. Please subscribe to our channel and share the content with your students.
3. Expanding our online student success curriculum, GradReady. No limit on lessons. We are now offering 16 money management lessons and 20 academic and life skill lessons. Sign up and you can have them all! Check out this short video to learn more about GradReady.
We’re confident the steps we’re taking are in line with the elevated support students need, and we look forward to even more partnerships with this community to provide it.
Best Regards,
